Adnate is the cover feature of the current edition of Tigerair's inflight magazine "Tigertales". "Make Walls Less Boring" by Jayne D'arcy tracks the artists career from tagging the streets of Melbourne to big wall painting around the world. The article focuses on the newly launched Art Series Hotel in Perth "The Adnate" named after the artist. The unmissable 25 storey building in busy Hay Street in the city's centre is adorned with mega-murals—portraits of an Aboriginal man, a child and a Mediterranean woman. Another mural, 50m long and featuring a tattooed Maori woman, adorns the hotel laneway off busy Hay Street.
The $90 Million hotel, which opened in October 2019, is the ninth in the Art Series portfolio and the first in Perth. It’s also the first to feature a street artist. Other hotels in the collection range from John Olsen and Charles Blackman (Melbourne) to Vincent Fantauzzo (Brisbane) and Tommy Watson (Adelaide).
